Anchorage
The anchorage point for our Sofia Lagoon 46 is right next to the sandbank in a shallow lagoon. We take a dinghy to get to a lonely beach, but in calm weather you can swim across.

This sandbank costs nothing and can be enjoyed tax-free.

Sandbanks are mainly formed by water currents and sea waves that move sand and other sediments to the bottom of a sea, river, or lake.
Nyange is the second most popular sandbank in the Stone Town area, after ”Nakupenda”. It doesn’t have a coral reef, but it has crystal-clear water and a beautiful sandy lagoon with a variety of starfish and shells.
